Waterwise Garden
The Waterwise Garden educates homeowners about gardening choices that conserve water and protect lakes and streams. Thoughtful planning, soil building and maintenance decisions produce attractive landscapes that need less water, garden chemicals and work than traditional landscapes. These choices also lead to healthier plants and yards that are safer for people and pets.

This award-winning garden is blooming with tips to help you:
- Save money on water, waste disposal and chemicals.
- Save time by promoting practices that work with nature and reduce repetitive yard care chores.
- Protect the health of your family, pets, wildlife and the Northwest environment.
The Waterwise Garden is located on the north and west sides of the Bellevue Botanical Garden's visitor center, at 12001 Main St., open daily from dawn to dusk. Professional gardening guides are available at the visitor center. Adult community volunteers are needed to help care for the site.
