The search continues for Sky Metalwala, a two-year-old boy reported missing in Bellevue Sunday, Nov. 6. There are still many unanswered questions regarding his disappearance. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the tipline at 425-452-2564 or email Pdtipline@bellevuewa.gov
The child's mother told police Sunday morning she had left the boy in her car, parked on the 2600 block of 112th Avenue Northeast, after she ran out of gas and took her four-year-old with her to get help. She said the boy was gone when she returned to her car about an hour later.
Along with Bellevue Police detectives, multiple agencies have participated in the investigation, including the FBI, King County Search and Rescue and Redmond Police
Both parents have assisted in the investigation. Police have searched the vehicle from which the child disappeared, the mother's home in Redmond and the area surrounding her home. Police have investigated hundreds of tips, but no arrests have been made. All possibilities of what may have happened to the child are being checked.
Bellevue Police thank the public who have provided tips. Anyone who may have travelled along 112th Avenue Northeast, between State Route 520 and Northeast 24th Street, on Sunday, from 7 to 10 a.m., is encouraged to call or email police.
