Position 1 - Gerald Hughes
Gerry was appointed on January 3, 2012 to an unexpired term. He has lived in Lake Hills since 1982 and founded a financial advisory firm that was located in downtown Bellevue for 25 years. His civic involvements include facilitator for a self help group under Recovery, Inc., helping those with anxiety and depression issues. He was a member of the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club for 10 years where he served as Treasurer and President of Rotary First Harvest. He has also served as Treasurer and President of the Lake Washington College Foundation. Gerry has a BA in physics, MA in mathematics and a MBA. Before moving to Bellevue he worked as an economist at Weyerhaeuser, computer programmer at Boeing, and a geophysicist at Shell Oil. He has four children and five grandchildren who live in this area. |

Position 2 - Ken Seal (Vice Chair)
Ken is married (55 years) and has seven grown children. He has been on the EBCC since 1993, and has been a resident in East Bellevue for more than 50 years. His professional experience includes engineering at Boeing and aviation with the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Seal is a past president of the Lake Hills Community Club and a commissioner of the Lake Hills Sewer District. Special interests include transportation and parks. |

Position 3 - Steven Kasner (Chair)
Steve has served as the Chair of the East Bellevue Community Council since 2009 and has been a member of the Council since 2006. Prior to that he served as a member and chair of the Bellevue’s Parks and Community Services Board. Additionally, his community service has included participation on the South Bellevue Community Center Citizen’s Advisory Committee and the Neighborhood Investment Strategy Citizen’s Advisory Committee. Steve has also served as President of the Classified Employees Association of Bellevue College and as a member of its All College Council. Currently he works for Kelly Education Services as a substitute teacher in private schools in East King County.
Steve is married with two children and has lived in East Bellevue for over 20 years. |

Position 4 - William Capron (Alt Vice Chair)
Bill was appointed June 7, 2011 to an unexpired term. He has lived in the East Bellevue area since 1969 and has been a business owner in Bellevue since 1981. He currently owns and operates the 76 station at 148th and Main Street. As a business owner he has served on industry commitees and is the former chairman of the Puget Sound NAPA Autocare Centers. Currently Bill holds the position of Chairman of the City of Ocean Shores Airport Commitee where he owns vacation property. Bill is a Sammamish High School Graduate and is happily married with two daughters currently enrolled at Washington State University. He looks forward to serving the community. |

Position 5 - Ross Gooding
Ross has lived in East Bellevue with his family for 13 years. They enjoy the parks, community and quality of life that Bellevue offers. He is a regional director for LPL Financial Services. He has experience as a 48th District precinct committee member. Mr. Gooding has a master's degree in business administration and has served as an Air Force cost analyst, dealing with major financial decisions. |
