PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities vary per task. See below.

TASKS INCLUDE

Planting native trees and shrubs near streams and wetlands
Observing streams for returning salmon in the Fall
Recording Stream Habitat Data in the Summer
Collecting stream bug samples in late Summer
Other special projects as they arise

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

No previous experience required. Training is available for projects as needed.

BENEFITS PROVIDED

Help protect Bellevue’s stream habitat for fish and wildlife.

Volunteers may participate in just one event or multiple events throughout the year. Sign up for individual projects as they are announced through the newsletter, flyers or email. Get on the volunteer list to receive these announcements by emailing streamteam@bellevuewa.gov or calling 425-452-5200.

RETURN APPLICATION MATERIALS TO: There is no formal application material. Volunteer Liability Waivers can be filled out at any event.
