CITY TRAFFIC INFORMATION (NOTE: For information on road closures related to ice, snow or flooding, please see the city’s Emergencies and Extreme Weather Response page):
NEW – Road closure: Bellevue Way northbound, NE 4th St to NE 6th St: The northbound lanes will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday until 9 p.m. Sunday to accommodate crane assembly. Southbound may be reduced to a single lane during this work.
NEW – Road closure: 106th Avenue NE, NE 2nd St to NE 4th St: The northbound lanes will be closed from 9 a.m. Sat. until as late as 6 p.m. Sun. for crane assembly.
NEW – Road closure: 108th Avenue SE, SE 2nd St to Main St: Road will be closed from 9 a.m. Sat. to 6 p.m. Sun. for utility work.
UPDATED - 2014 Overlay Program: Crews will be repairing, grinding and paving roadways at numerous locations throughout Bellevue through early fall. Expect delays from intermittent lane closures and traffic control at the following locations (work schedule is weather-dependent):
- Highland Drive SE, SE 46th Street to Forest Drive: Single lane closure Mon.-Fri., 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Lane Closure, 112th Avenue NE, NE 8th St to NE 10th St: The northbound curb lane will be closed for two weeks, starting Mon., Nov 3, for construction of an interim bike lane.
Lane Closures: NE 4th Street at 116th Avenue NE: Crews are working on the first phase of this roadway project. Expect intermittent lane closures and truck traffic weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Lane Closures: NE 8th Street, west of 120th Avenue NE: Expect lane closures due to night work Mon.-Thur. from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. This work is part of the 120th Ave NE Stage 2 project.
Lane Closures: 120th Avenue NE, NE 4th St to NE 7th St: Crews are at work on the roadway project. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Expect lane closures and restricted access to NE 5th, 6th and 7th Streets.
Lane Closures: 120th Avenue NE, NE 7th Street to NE 8th Street: Crews will shift traffic and close lanes for the work zone on the west side of the street 24/7 for extended periods.
Coal Creek Parkway, Forest Drive to SE 60th Street: Four lanes of traffic are now open, but finishing work by the city and private utilities will reduce to the roadway two lanes, one in each direction, during non-peak hours through early November.
FREEWAY TRAFFIC INFORMATION: Washington State Department of Transportation has several projects under way that can affect traffic in Bellevue at any given time. For the most up-to-date information on construction activity on major highways, visit WSDOT's weekly construction closure updates.
Advisories: The ramps from southbound I-405 to eastbound NE 8th St and from eastbound SR 520 to southbound I-405 will be closed from 10 p.m. Sat. to 8 a.m. Sun. for paving.

Advisories: Full closure of SR 520, Nov. 14-17: A full closure of SR 520, in both directions, will take place from 11 p.m. Fri., Nov. 14, until 5 a.m. Mon., Nov. 17, between Montlake Blvd and 92nd Avenue NE. The ramp from 92nd Ave NE to eastbound SR 520 will also be closed.
The ramp from eastbound SR 520 to southbound I-405 will be closed from 10 p.m. Sat. to 8 a.m. Sun. for paving.

~COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND PRIVATE UTILITY WORK: Drivers and pedestrians should anticipate periodic lane and/or sidewalk closures and delays at these locations:
o NE 2nd Place and NE 3rd Place between 110th & 111th Avenues NE (Marriott Hotel): NE 2nd Pl., NE 3rd St., and 111th Ave NE will have traffic control and intermittent lane closures.
o 120th Avenue NE near NE 12th Street (Spring District development): There may be periodic traffic control measures including lane adjustments weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
o 124th Avenue NE near NE 12th Street (Spring District development): There may be periodic traffic control measures and lane adjustments for utility work.
