Overlay Locations: Lane closures and delays, alternate routes are advised.
- NEW: 112th Ave NE from NE 8th to NE 2nd St: Mon., 5/2 to Wed., 5/3, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Watson Asphalt will be closing one lane at a time to grind the road surface to prepare it to be overlaid.
- NEW: 112th Ave NE & NE 4th St: Thurs., 5/5, 8:00 p.m. to Fri., 5/6, 6:00 a.m., crews will do the most traffic-sensitive grinding work in the evening. The following week, weather permitting, they will pave during night hours.
Coal Creek Parkway SE from Newcastle Way to SE 60th St: From 4/9 and continuing for three months, drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians should be prepared for impacts due to construction of AvalonBay Newcastle. Four lanes of traffic will remain open, but periodically, AvalonBay will close one northbound lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or later, as needed. A temporary reduction of the speed limit from 40 MPH to 25 MPH will be in effect until travel lane restrictions are removed. Left-hand turns will not be permitted in this area. Bike lanes will be closed, and the sidewalk will be closed on the east side of Coal Creek Parkway.
Northup Way, from NE 33rd Place and NE 24th Street: On-going to January 2017. One lane traffic control from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. The speed limit is reduced to 25 MPH within project limits. Expect long delays. ALTERNATE ROUTES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
NE 24th St from 156th Ave NE to 164th Ave NE: On-going to Tues., 5/31. Work hours: Mon. - Fri., 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Utilities will be replacing an aging water main. Expect traffic delays.
SE Allen Rd from 138th Ave SE to 150th Ave SE: Started 4/11. Construction will last four months. Work hours are Mon. through Fri., 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Utilities will be replacing an aging water main. Expect traffic delays.
114th Ave SE from SE 6th St to Main St : Starting 4/20 until early July. Sewer main replacement work by Bellevue Utilities will close 114th Ave SE to through traffic. Access to local businesses will be maintained and sidewalks will remain open. This will be a hard closure, providing local access only from the north (via NE 2nd St). Part of the Bellefield Area Sewer Projects.
120th Ave NE from NE 8th St to NE 12th St: Temporary lane configurations in effect for duration of project. Please watch for construction vehicles and obey all flaggers to avoid conflict. (120th Ave NE Stage II)
123rd Ave SE Sidewalk from SE 20th Pl to SE 26th St: On-going to Wed., June 1st, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Expect single lane closures with alternating traffic.

Main St from 110th Pl SE to 112th Ave SE: Demolition of structures began Monday, April 18. Expect intermittent lane closures.
NE 2nd Pl from 110th Ave NE to 111th Ave NE: Closed 2016 thru 2018 (minimum 2-year closure). Road will be closed for an extended period of time to allow use of the right of way as a staging area for Sound Transit.
